You have to make your trips few and far between to really enjoy going to the Louisville Science Center in Louisville, KY. Luckily it had been ages since Allyson and I had been. In this time of true thanksgiving, I stop to think of how I’m living. Most days in pain, and not just physical. Slightly grumpy is too often typical. I do too little, though I take on too much. Allyson and I went with friends to the Louisville Zoo this past Saturday. We haven’t been in so long that the polar bears and otters (two of our fave critters to see) were gone. They’re building a new exhibit called Glacier Run where I’m assuming these guys will be housed again. Makes a person wonder where they are right now? Ah! Spring Break. A time to pack the family in an overpriced rental car and drive 2,000 miles in a a deluge of rain through swamp and gator country. Good times, good times. It was a whirlwind trip to the windy city. It has become a yearly tradition to travel toChicago with friends, Val & Kim, and visit the American Girl Place. Allyson and I went with our friends, Valerie and Kim, to the American Girl Place in Chicago. Our trip was planned around their 1st Anniversary event for the American Girl Club.
